Lab

This is the place for technical laboratory information used primarily by microbiology lab staff when processing specimens. They were created initially as protocols for the laboratory at Eastern Health in St. John’s, Newfoundland and any remaining specific references are made in error.

I want to make it very clear that they are not in-use protocols from the laboratory I am currently affiliated with at the Vancouver Island Health Authority in British Columbia.

Feel free to utilize them in any way. Most are based on Toronto Mount Sinai Hospital’s online Department of Microbiology – Laboratory Manual. Many thanks to its’ creators.
